Good Health in school and home

We've all had the times when our kid was too sick to go to college. And as we re-arranged our schedule to accommodate staying at home with them, we almost certainly thought about where they may have caught the bug. Most likely, we're going to place the blame on the high school. But at the same time, how frequently do we send our youngsters to college with a little cough or runny nose? It is a double-edges blade. These are some basic suggestions to follow in deciding whether to keep your kid home or not.

Evaluate how they are feeling. If they are exhausted and sleepy, or running a fever - they have to stay at home. Fevers are a great sign that your kid is infectious and can make other youngsters sick. If your youngster is feeling okay but has some common indicators like a running nose, give them a cold drugs to help with the symptoms and teach them some basic cleanliness tips. When they blow their nose, have them dump the tissue and wash their hands. Or place a tiny bottle of hand sanitizer in their backpack and have them rub some on.

If they're sneezing, teach them to use their higher arm to block the sneeze. This could help to keep the germs from spreading and keep them off their hands. Correct cleanliness can help stop your kid from getting a cold or sick bug from some other person in class. Have them always wash their hands after using the toilet and before eating. We won't stop all the germs from getting to our kids but we will be able to do our part.
