Lacquering technique requires the use of a type of painting (shellac), and leads to a result where the piece has a particularly smooth and a very remarkable brightness. The technique itself is very simple, just have to take into account that requires many coats, and that takes time.
With the timber in perfect condition, clean and dry, we give first a coat of primer, sealing that protects the wood pores. The primer is bought in any shop.
The paint that you will use depends on your taste. There are many varieties, and in the store will help you choose the ideal for the type of wood and use.
Once the primer is dry, gently lijamos with fine sandpaper. Completely withdrawn and we dust lacquer firsthand. When this dries, lijamos with equal delicacy and removed completely in the dust.
We must give a minimum of four hands of lacquer, always proceeding in the same way.
Then we four hands more, but colorless lacquer. Lijamos always at hand and clean with the paint dry, of course.
The result is excellent.
